PEOPLE
Effective communication is the key to high performance. You may recall the story of the parent who was trying to teach his child to strike a match. The instructions were to strike the match. The son hit the match on the side, on the end on the table top and on the floor. No matter how hard he struck the match he could not get it to light. In utter frustration, the child left the room in tears and the parent was at a loss as to what to do. As he consoled his son, the parent realized that he hadn't communicated very well. The child had done exactly what his father had asked with no results. While this seems far fetched, the analogy is relevant to effectiveness or lack thereof with each human interaction.
Our approach is always to assess our client's current needs, culture and environment before recommending solutions or approaches to accomplishing desired results. Our clients tell us that our approach continually produces the results they had hoped for but were not able to achieve on their own. We bring another set of eyes, objectively focused on positive results. Linking corporate goals, objectives and tactics with compensation and development plans are critical success factors. This linkage is often overlooked when business executives are clearly focused on the burning issues of the day. We assist in objectively identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
PROCESS

Our role as advisors is to understand business requirements, roles and responsibilities and to assist in the development of improved processes to optimize results. We continually view and assess business processes from the end user perspective. What is the end user expecting from our client? The desired result more often is the best product at the lowest cost, just-in-time. It's really that simple. All business infrastructures must be linked effectively to ensure that the supply chain and associated processes mesh seamlessly.
TECHNOLOGY
Strategic business plans must link to proper technology deployment to support business objectives. Recently, a significant client requested that FFC develop strategic and implementation plans to meet its customers' requirements. The assessment phase of the engagement included 37 executive and end user interviews to diagnose business issues, deliverables and requirements. Once this was completed, the foundation was developed. Gaps in technologies, business operations and personnel emerged and action plans were created to eliminate the disconnects.
Our firm developed the recommendations, ROIs and supporting operational business case in support of key technologies necessary to achieve best in class services to sustain customer centric growth. Customer Contact Centers were refined and cost reductions and call completion rates improved in meeting customer and corporate needs.
